FIRST INDUSTRIAL founder Mr. Jimmy Hon Kum Yoong inspired by his housewife mother who took multiple trips by bus from Teluk Intan to Petaling Jaya to purchase properties, Jimmy Hon started his real estate career in CH Williams, Talhar & Wong, a leading property consultancy firm in 1983 where he first honed his skills for 5 years before forming First Industrial Agency (Sole Proprietor) in 1989.
Todate, First Industrial Agency managed to establish the largest and most comprehensive industrial property database in Malaysia in excess of 10,000 listings.
We have transacted many sizable land deals, factories & warehouses for corporations like Sime Darby, Boustead, Tractors, Diethelm, DHL, Ceva, Phillip Morris, Mapletree and many more.
Our track record includes more than 500 industrial transactions comprising more than 480 acres of Industrial Land deals, sale of more than 100 factories/warehouses and leasing of industrial space in excess of 15 million sq. ft.
One of our landmark deals is the conclusion of a JV between a Malaysian and Thai developer to build the largest fully air-conditioned Class A Distribution Centre (560,000 sq ft) for Diethelm in Thailand.
Another landmark deal that we have recently concluded, is the sale of 27.7 acres of prime industrial land in Bukit Raja for RM163 million for the development of one of the largest highly automated warehouse (1.8 million gross floor area) in Malaysia.

One of David’s notable achievements was his pivotal role in the triumphant acquisition of the Pulau Indah industrial project within Westport Phase 1. He played a key role in securing an exclusive appointment of a substantial 196 acre prime industrial land with a total gross development value (GDV) of approximately RM 400 million.
This industrial development caters to a diverse range of industries, ranging from light to medium and heavy industries. David’s strategic acumen and diligence ensured that this industrial project was successfully sold.
